Two ways to land on a size. Measure yourself, or measure a shirt you already like and match it to the chart.

Chest

Run the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms, keeping it level across the back. Don't hold your breath. Match that number to To fit chest.

Chest, pit to pit

Lay a shirt flat, smooth out the front, and measure straight across from one underarm seam to the other.

Body length

From the highest point of the shoulder seam, beside the collar, straight down to the hem.

Shoulder

Across the back, seam to seam, where the sleeve meets the body on each side.

Sleeve

From the shoulder seam down the outside of the sleeve to the cuff.

The NYC Shirt is a short sleeve camp collar with a 1950s silhouette: easy through the chest, a straight hem, and a collar that lies open.

• Between sizes, go by the chest. Measure a shirt you already like across the front, pit to pit, and match it to the chart.
• Seersucker is woven with its pucker, so the texture is in the cloth and never washes out.
• Cold wash and air dry for best results. It can go in the dryer; allow for slight shrinkage.
