Measurements are taken flat and may vary by up to half an inch. Cut and sewn in Portugal.

Two ways to land on a size. Measure yourself, or measure a shirt you already like and match it to the chart.

Chest

Run the tape around the fullest part of your chest, under the arms, keeping it level across the back. Don't hold your breath. Match that number to To fit chest.

Chest, pit to pit

Lay a shirt flat, smooth out the front, and measure straight across from one underarm seam to the other.

Body length

From the highest point of the shoulder seam, beside the collar, straight down to the hem.

Shoulder

Across the back, seam to seam, where the sleeve meets the body on each side.

Sleeve

From the shoulder seam down the outside of the sleeve to the cuff.

The henley runs a touch longer than the polo with a narrower shoulder, meant to be worn on its own or under a shirt.

• Between sizes, size up — this one is meant to sit easy.
• The placket is reinforced and holds its shape after washing.
• Cotton is preshrunk. Wash cold, dry low, and it will hold its measurements.
